Customer Reviews
KYT is a great host
First strike is a great MTG podcast for all competitive level players. The hosts have truly diverse viewpoints giving opposing views of cards, strategies and arch-types. I gave 4 stars instead of 5, because with such a large cast, there is quite a bit of each other talking overtop of each other. KYT does his best to facilitate a logical podcast, and it’s obvious he has his hands full. Great job everyone!
Knowledgeable hosts yet unlistenable
Hosts for this podcast are extremely knowledgeable and have the competitive results to back it up... Unfortunately, the interaction between the cast is childish and distracting.
The nervous giggles & guffaws during many podcasts became so annoying (sometimes during topics of a sensitive nature) that I eventually cancelled my subscription.
There is a significant amount of information for the competitive Magic the Gathering player... and if the personalities of the hosts align with yours, then this may be the podcast for you.
Rob vs Derrick
I find the interaction between Rob and Derrick to be very annoying and petty. Grow up.
Your show used to be decent, but this is unbearable.
My opinion of course.
