Customer Reviews
Good for the most part
I agree with another reviewer…Des really brings this down. The insight is good, and there are a lot of laugh out loud moments, but I feel like she is a very negative person. I know people who are like this, and they’re exhausting. There’s also a lot of discussion amongst heterosexuals about the queer community that often feels ignorant and/mocking. Also, talking about “old person sex” in relation to Ruth (Frances Conroy was in her late 40s when SFU started. LATE. 40s. And she was, and still is, a striking woman) being disgusting is cringy. Despite those shortcomings and a handful of others, it’s a good listen, but you need to be able to ignore the obliviousness of the podcasters when it comes to multiple social issues, and the constant need to dislike so many things on Des’ part.
Probably would have listened more..
But dez. What a killjoy. Such a drag.
