Five Things Ali from the Tick Chicks Did to Recover from Lyme Disease Love, Hope, Lyme Podcast

    • Medicine

This is episode 23 of the Love, Hope, Lyme podcast.
Fred Diamond's popular book, "Love, Hope, Lyme: What Family Members, Partners, and Friends Who Love a Chronic Lyme Survivor Need to Know" offers those who love someone with persistent or chronic Lyme ideas and tips to support this beloved person. It also helps Lyme survivors know how to ask for support.
On today’s podcast, Fred interviews Ali from the Tick Chicks.
When Fred was researching his book, he was unaware that there were community builders, typically those who have recovered from Lyme disease, who provided guidance, counseling, and other forms of support to the millions of Lyme and other tick-borne disease survivors around the globe.
One such leader was Ali of the Tick Chicks. When Fred was researching information for his book, he discovered her "Lyme Time" podcast and listened to every episode, typically when he was walking on the beaches at Margate, New Jersey.
On this show, Ali discusses:
1.  Her Antibiotic trial
2.  Surrendering to not chasing the bug and numbers
3.  Opening her mind to alternative healing
4.  Symptom relief:  supplements, extreme clean eating, rest, faith, baby steps (stretching, walking), eliminating humidity and elevation.
5.  Brain retraining, breathwork, vagus nerve health, a vision of total cellular health.
If someone you love has been afflicted with Lyme disease, listen to this podcast now.
If you have Lyme disease, listen for ways to get the support you need.
The e-version of Fred's book is always free for Lyme survivors. Just reach out to Fred on Facebook or LinkedIn. The print copy can be ordered at https://www.amazon.com/Love-Hope-Lyme-Partners-Survivor-ebook/dp/B0B9Q8LX7G/.
