“There is one God, who exists eternally in three distinct but equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” 

So says our statement of faith.  But what does the Bible actually say about the Trinity?  And why does knowing God as Trinity so important to us as Christians, both now and throughout the history of the church?
