With the defensive coordinator search officially over, the Longhorns are still in need of finding a replacement for Tim Beck after Herman stripped Beck of his OC title following the 7-5 regular season. As Horns247 was first to report in early December, USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell has been the top candidate on Herman's mind, but Harrell is not willing to jump ship to join Herman's staff at Texas, as Horns247 has been reporting since last week.
