Hilarious & Fun
A great monster hearts game. The cast is hilarious and the editing is great
gratuitous drunkeness
Overall, this is a pretty good show and they do a great job leaning into the core concepts of Monsterhearts. That said, the gratuitous drunkeness of the players/mc routinely gets in the way of the narrative and creates plot holes. They laugh a lot about not being able to remember what happened last session because they were too drunk. I get that this is a group of friends having fun but a content/trigger warning about excessive alcohol consumption would be great. I’m all about added value and the constant discussion/focus on the drunkness of the players/mc is something that really should have been edited out.
