Corey Costanzo MA, LCAS, LMBT, SEP,  has practiced counseling and somatic therapy since 2005 as a bodyworker, psychotherapist, addictions counselor and yoga teacher. From 2003-2008 he lived, studied and worked on staff at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA.  While there he dove deeply into the direct experience of learning and practicing gestalt awareness, cranial sacral therapy, Esalen® massage and many different methods of bodywork, somatic psychology and sound healing.  He created the weekly Didgeridoo Meditation at the hot springs at Esalen, a popular offering that ran weekly for 10 years.
His love and passion around supporting others is clear.  As an active volunteer in the local community he offers a weekly restorative yoga and didgeridoo class every Friday at Asheville Community Yoga and a weekly mindfulness and sound meditation class for incarcerated men at the Buncombe County Detention Center.  He also co-owns Still Point Wellness, a top rated wellness spa specializing in unique mind/body modalities in Asheville NC.  On the weekends you’ll find him enjoying family time, dancing, and caretaking the family hobby farm in Asheville, NC.
