For Moms Only: When You Feel Touched Out

For Moms Only: When You Feel Touched Out

This week on the Fools in Love Podcast, Meghan comes at you solo with a topic that she thinks we don’t talk about enough. She knows we tend to deal with this privately and just “endure” it...but today, we’re going there! Let’s talk about being “touched out.”
It’s the feeling you have when you suddenly realize you are NEVER alone and can hardly walk 2 feet without someone running up to you and clinging to your leg like their life depends on it.  It’s the reason you think to yourself, OMG WHY!? WHY WONT THEY LEAVE ME ALONE??
Listen. These feelings don’t make you a bad mom, they make you normal.

How to Get Out of a Rut

How to Get Out of a Rut

This week on the Fools in Love Podcast, we are talking about recognizing when you may be in a rut and how to get yourself out of it.  We spent years feeling like this was it. That we couldn't do more and couldn't be more.  It left us feeling unhappy, unmotivated, and overall uninspired.  But then we decided to stop waiting for things to happen for us and instead take action.  We've since waved bye to complacency and started taking responsibility for our own lives.

Helping Your Partner Through Anxiety and Depression [Rebroadcast]

Helping Your Partner Through Anxiety and Depression [Rebroadcast]

This week on the Fools in Love Podcast, we are revisiting one of our audiences favorite episodes to date. We have both struggled with anxiety and depression in seasons of our lives and hope to cut through the stigma and provide you with the tools you need to face it head on.
So join us as we go deep and get really real. Depression and anxiety is something that no one wants to talk about--so when you or your partner experience one or both, it can feel like you’re the only one on the face of the earth. But according to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, anxiety disorders are the most common mental disorders in the US. So while no one’s shouting it from the roof tops, it’s not exactly uncommon.

Inspiring: Do It Anyway

Fools in Love Podcast inspires me to be a better human. None of us have ever “arrived” and we are constantly in process. I love that Brandon and Meghan don’t act like they have figured it all out. They own what they can control and they don’t get bogged down by what they can’t control. I love the phrase, “do it anyway.” Often times I’m scared to do things, or too tired, or just unsure. This simple phrase really helps remind me to just put forth the effort and good things will follow. Keep killin’ it Fools.

Real life with a positive outlook

I love how Brandon and Meghan give it to you straight but with a splash of hope and a feeling like things will be ok. They are artists in how they talk about challenges they’ve faced but also give you tactical strategies of overcoming and moving forward. We need more couples willing to share their stories and talk openly like this!

Great Podcast- so much truth

I have only listened to two so far, but will definitely listen to more. First I listened to Choosing a Joyful Life. I’m all about life’s a choice. Life’s also hard and I say that as someone who has been through Hard, I shouldn’t be here to write this and my life, my families, my sons all were traumatically changed. But it’s how we found the good through it all that saved us. I also listened to How to Navigate Life Changes. So good. So true. So real. Love their truth, but learning to navigate life changes is the only way to live life and be happy and make life work for you. It’s hard and takes work but you learn as you go as they said. I so appreciate truth and honestly and the no BS talk. Life’s not perfect. Thanks for sharing that.
