    We've all heard that you always want what you can't have. That's exactly the strategy your business can use to your advantage with exclusivity.
    In today's episode, I'm giving you four ways you can achieve exclusivity no matter what type of business you have.
    There are many advantages to exclusivity and within Foot Traffic we found that our programs rose in popularity and increased enrollment when we assigned them entry requirements.
    Three key points about exclusivity for small businesses:
    1. Let's get clear on exactly how exclusive you need to be. I'll give you my suggestions for best business practices when it comes to which products need an element of exclusivity.
    2. How do you let people know about the exclusivity of your offers? I'll be sharing with you here the phrases and language you can use to announce the options customers have for working with your business.
    3. What do you need to do to implement? Depending on what you sell there are different strategies you can use. I'll give you examples of what these look like and how to get started.

    You need to have an organization chart for your small business (even if you're still hiring).  When everyone reports to you there is no way to keep the expectations and communication clear.  You end up micromanaging and somehow it still seems like things aren’t getting done to your standards or your team is confused.
    Imagine having a maximum of two people reporting back to you with a summary of the status of different projects. You still know about any challenges and the things are getting done. It just doesn’t come from 6 different people.
    3 key insights in this episode:
    1. You can have one person wearing multiple hats but you do not want multiple people sharing a position as a leader.
    2. Having an effective org chart is a system including 4 phases that allow you to evaluate the right people in the right spots and plan your next steps. We'll dive into how to get started.

    1. To know what to do about it, first you have to know exactly what it is. I'm talking symptoms and how to know if you're experiencing entrepreneur burnout.

    3. Most importantly you need to understand the catastrophic consequences of staying in burnout for too long.

    This episode is my honest review of Tony Robbins' business mastery.
    It's been on my bucket list for a long time but I wasn't previously able to justify attending because it meant taking seven days away from my family. So when I had the chance to attend virtually, I jumped at it.
    In this episode, I'm giving my candid feedback about whether or not this event was worth the investment by laying out all the pros and cons of the experience.
     
    3 key takeaways to listen for in this episode:
    1. Was it worth it? I'm sharing the action steps I always take when I attend an event like business mastery to make sure I maintain momentum and make back my investment.
    2. The good, the bad, the ugly. There were some speakers that were really valuable, some repetition of basic things I needed reminders of, and one thing in particular that I really didn't like.
    3. The major benefit of events versus free resources. I'm a huge fan of events versus podcasts and books for the exact reasons I'm sharing here.
