    5 Minute Meditation for Self-Compassion

    5 Minute Meditation for Self-Compassion

Rev. Elaine Aron-Tenbrink offers a guided meditation to cultivate self-compassion.
May this meditation be a reminder that when we are feeling stuck and brittle and can only see the world through a lens of scarcity - when we are most in need of a blessing - we have the capacity to offer a blessing to ourselves.
This meditation is adapted from the work of Dr. Kristin Neff, who is a scholar on the topic of self-compassion.

Deep connection and thought provoking

Each week I come away with more connection with real people and real life. I am challenged to think deeper about each and every twist and turn in this life we all share but must be reckoned with inside ourselves.

Funny & Wise & Worth Your Time

Came for the nerdiness of the primer on process theology episode, stayed for full-hearted conversation about living faithfully. The conversations are wise and funny and wide-ranging, and it pops up in a bunch of different episodes but I especially learn something about surrender and showing up faithfully whenever they talk about parenting. When it comes to production/editing aesthetic, I really appreciate the open conversation without rambling. There’s a vulnerability and willingness to not know everything or use the time just to prove how smart they are—and they invite the same of guests—but you also know there’s a plan and your time will be well spent and you’ll come away with some kernel.
