About For All Mankind: The first manned mission to the Moon during the Space Race in the late 1960s was a global success for NASA and the United States. But this drama answers the question: "What if the Space Race had never ended?".

In an alternate timeline, the USSR beats the USA to the Moon; thus setting its first Russian cosmonaut, Alexei Leonov, on it. Dubbed as "Red Moon", this event leaves NASA in devastation. This doesn’t mean those working there have given up as they challenge the Soviet Union a second time to show that there is no giving up on hope.

The show is For All Mankind and so is the podcast

The Space Race was one of the greatest endeavors in human history, so this new show is a fascinating look at what might have happened. I love the after show too, but that comes as no surprise since the afterbuzz crew is awesome.

I love different podcasts that aren’t the norm! This one was great! The hosts did an awesome job of giving us the scoop!!

Not worth your time

Endless dithering, middle school level analysis, and hosts that I find annoying. I love the For All Mankind TV show and was hoping to find a podcast where the themes and topics of the show are discussed more and predictions made and such. There is almost none of that here. I am sure lots of other people like this podcast. But I find almost zero value in listening to these two talk about the show.

If you are the kind of person who misses obvious symbolism, or finds yourself frequently Wikipedia-ing stuff while watching the show, this might be fun for you. But beyond that, not much here.
