EP 1: Regeneron’s Renny Bloch on how to upskill managers into emotionally intelligent leaders

EP 1: Regeneron’s Renny Bloch on how to upskill managers into emotionally intelligent leaders

Renny Bloch, Director of Talent Development at Regeneron, and Christina Asbaty explore how the right conversation between a manager and their direct report can make or break an employee’s experience.

Since Regeneron took on the challenge of finding an antibody treatment for COVID-19 in 2020, the company more than doubled in size. This put a lot of pressure on departments across the company, including the learning and development team, who were responsible for training thousands of new managers, remotely, for the very first time—amongst the team's many other priorities.

    About Renny Bloch, Regeneron

Renny Bloch is the Director of Global Leadership & Organizational Development at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Prior to this role, Renny was the Director of Global Talent Development at The Estée Lauder Companies, and a Sr. Training and Development Specialist with Langone NYU Medical Center’s Organizational Development & Learning department.

It is important to Renny that he stays on top of, and leverages, the most effective research from organizational psychology, positive psychology, leadership and management, neuroscience, emotional intelligence, mindfulness and philosophy to help leaders acquire the requisite ‘power skills’ needed for today and the future.
