F1s future

Great topical discussions and insights.

With F1 pondering what socially acceptable rule changes to make in order to keep F1 viable how about the following suggestions:

1). Single compound tire for all teams. Tire designed to last 30 laps however all teams have to pit by the completion of 25th lap. Forces a 2 stop strategy.

2) get rid of the AWS AI intel guiding team strategy.

3) stop apologizing for being F1. It’s the money noise and spectacle that make F1 F1

4) allow teams who have been running P11 -P20 for previous 3 races or more to have 10% more fuel flow.

5) increase DRS activation limit to 2 seconds to help close the gaps.

6) increase fuel capacity so fuel management concerns don’t play into strategy.

7) limit drivers to 3 years at a team forcing driver rotations through the field and mixing it up.

8) limit team sizes to 300 people globally to label team spending

9) give a development fund at end of each season for last place team to help bring them up the ranking. The team can only receive 2 awards within a 6 year time span.

Forever

I have been listening to this podcast from episode 1. No other F1 podcast gives so much info into a fun package. We have a lady F1 fan that knows her stuff. I never get tired of listening to this great podcast. Give it a listen and you will be hooked.

Trying too hard

The hosts are obviously very well informed and do great race reviews but I wish they would get rid of all the corny sound bits and musical interludes. It makes it seem like a bad version of cartalk.
