The United States has become synonymous with empire and endless war, American troops sit in 70% of the world's countries, and yet, most Americans don't know that. The military is joined disproportionately by a 'warrior caste’ whom carry this enormous burden, making a less diverse force and ensuring most of society doesn't see their sacrifice. And American tax dollars, funding hundreds of billions in unnecessary spending on global hegemony, are robbed from the domestic needs of ordinary Americans. We aim to change that.

Join Danny, Henri, and Keagan, three leftist US military veterans, as they discuss how to turn the tide against endless war and repair the damage America has caused abroad.

Enough Already w/ Scott Horton of Antiwar.com – Ep 104

Scott Horton of Antiwar.com joins me to discuss Scott's new book "Enough Already: Time to End the War on Terror."

We touch on many topics from the Carter administration forward, understanding that what transpired on September 11, 2001 was only the latest blowback from American foreign policy in the Middle East, how every president from Carter to Biden has shared in the irresponsibility of American "counter-terrorism" missions, and even how torture encouraged and in some cases helped create major al Qaeda leaders.

Scott Horton is director of the Libertarian Institute, editorial director of Antiwar.com, host of Antiwar Radio on Pacifica, 90.7 FM KPFK in Los Angeles, California and podcasts the Scott Horton Show from ScottHorton.org. He’s the author of the 2021 book Enough Already: Time to End the War on Terrorism, the 2017 book, Fool’s Errand:Time to End the War in Afghanistan and editor of the 2019 book The Great Ron Paul: The Scott Horton Show Interviews 2004–2019. He’s conducted more than 5,500 interviews since 2003.

Thanks to everyone who joined our discussion with Lee Camp and Nate Hankes. If you didn't get to watch, the replay is right here. Enjoy!

He’s a former contributor to The Onion, former staff humor writer for the Huffington Post, and his web series “Moment of Clarity” has been viewed by millions. He’s toured the country and the world with his fierce brand of standup comedy, and George Carlin’s daughter, Kelly, said Lee is one of the few comics keeping her father’s torch lit. High five

Bringing the though issues to the forefront of the consciousness of our military and government. Brilliant and well thought out conversations that we need to have more often and out in the open.

Brave and accurate

Disciplined and seemingly fearless, this podcast takes on issues that need to be discussed in the open. Difficult issues. Issues that, if brought into the open, will make us all better human beings.
