Kick back and listen to Frank Bill talk books and life..

Absolutely love this podcast. I remember when Frank Bill grabbed a napkin and scribbled 5 writers that I must read. Oh ho, yes I did. He introduced me to a new genre, some called it rural noir or grit lit. I have never looked back. Finally, I have a podcast that I am able to listen to some of my favorite writers discuss this gritty, dark genre that I have come to love. Plus, Frank just discusses anything and everything. It is like kicking back and talking to an old friend. I cannot wait until he discusses the writers who influenced him. Maybe just talk about Larry Brown, Tom Franklin, Harry Crewes, Ron Rash, William Gay, etc. So excited. Starting out with Benjamin Whitmer, author of Pike, is the cherry on top.
