Oftentimes people think that affordable housing has to come at the expense of income for owners. Frank Furman is working to create a win-win situation for both. Meet PadSplit, an affordable housing marketplace that connects property owners with pre-screened residents seeking an affordable place to live by leveraging under-utilized space in existing properties. Prior to PadSplit, Frank served in the Marine Corps (serving two tours in Afghanistan), has a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a M.S. in Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins University, and has worked for Georgia Pacific and MicKinsey & Company.
