Who doesn’t love Free Cookies?!

I love this podcast! Kate and KB have great on air chemistry, and are tackling really interesting subjects. Keep up the amazing work, ladies!

Love your show!! Been a long time listener and supporter and have loved KB for many years. The episode with Stacy sadly really missed the mark for me, however. Her shops do sound amazing!! I am a huge lover of all things fashion and totally understand how worth it it is to buy small. Buy designer. Buy original. Buy local. I don’t, however, think that her speaking to your listeners with such privilege and talking about the evil of slow fashion and then not really giving an honest answer of how to avoid it was very thoughtful or made much sense to the general clothing consumer. Of course, fashion is art. Of course you get what you pay for. I truly do not enjoy the fact that my paycheck only affords me the option of having to shop at mass produced stores like Target and H&M, because of all of the valid points that Stacy mentioned. I believe that her platform could have allowed an opportunity to bring about more education on HOW to do slow fashion better and on a budget. Buy from thrift stores. Buy less. Reuse clothing. Consignment. Etc. I understand that that wasn’t the point of her coming onto the show, but she genuinely approached her responses to this interview with such a bizarrely privileged point of view that it was hard for me to keep listening. Loved your conceptual idea of simply buying less! That may have saved that awkward moment in the interview. Thank you for trying to ask her the question of “how to do slow fashion on a budget” after she went on and on about how hard it is to do her job and how much we should want to support boutiques like hers. It was quite exhausting. I stayed, hoping you could turn it around, as I’ve never not loved one of your shows. She, sadly, could not answer and continued on in the shamey “fashion” that she began. For what it’s worth, I think that we could all do much better. Much love to you both ❤️

Great podcast for work commute

I love listening this on my subway ride to work. Makes the commute go by so fast and the topics are always interesting. I also like the recipes at the end! Was never loyal to a podcast until I started listening to free cookies.
