Music Friday went a new direction; we had an awesome rapper named Studio B in the studio free styling! The song was 'Sugar Skull City' in honor of the cool initiative taking place downtown. It was really cool and wow, what wordplay! So many cool surprises take place on a Friday, it's become a super fun way to enter the weekend. Our guest today was local Marine corps veteran Ale Hernandez. This was Ale's 4th appearance and she updated us to what's taking place in our community and beyond. When last we met Ale she took an internship with the Chicago Botanical Garden and this was a quick sneak peek & chop up to see what's next with her. Social justice, voting and the life of a Marine; typical, morning coffee conversation! Ale's next endeavor is the VNA where she will be doing contact tracing. A great update for the weekend and we're waiting for more community news from her!
Much love to our friends at REFS Productions, Xavier Addie Collection, Crystal House, Cotton Seed Creative Exchange, Tredwell, A Call To Shoulders & Aurora Public Art. We had a strong week full of great interviews and it was a great accomplishment. Remember its still Domestic Violence & Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donate your time or volunteer to help out and organization. What we do together mean so much to us all. Thank you to all of our listeners and supporters. And tour fans we've got much, much more coming! Stay tuned to the one and only news show in Aurora with so much style. Be blessed & safe. Peace!
