Jeez--ok, so overall Friday Night Quests is consistently entertaining, frequently hilarious, oftentimes epic, and never dull. The folks at Partial Arc are brilliant storytellers and role players--their adventures are genuinely unique and captivating, and their goofs will delight your socks off. It's also very well produced and edited.

Wonderfully Entertaining

I picked up FnQ back in the middle of its first season, and was hooked immediately. I spent many hours listening to the Velvet League’s antics and adventures always eager for that next episode to air. The writing and audio quality are excellent and only improve with the shows lifetime. If you’re a fan of D&D, looking for some inspiration for your own campaign, or even just love a good story, pick this one up, you won’t be disappointed!

For fans of Dungeons and Dragons and having fun

The talented, passionate, and frankly hilarious crew at Friday Night Quests its putting on a clinic when it comes to actual play tabletop role-playing game podcasts. Their original campaign was unique in that it had a small, tight group of regulars and brought in guests for some absolutely amazing moments. These moments only intensified in insanity due to some truly memorable character moments at the end of the campaign, all decided by the almighty dice. They are currently in full swing in the second campaign, with a slightly larger party. This time around, the DM certainly playing a with a lot more subtlety, but definitely ramping up to something phenomenal. I heartily recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, actual play podcasts, great story telling, and good fun. The only downside to some, but not to me, may be the fact the podcast caters to a much more adult audience, and is certainly not suitable for younger ears. Listen at your own risk, as once you start, you may not be able to stop!
