Looks like I forgot to send this review 6 months ago. My bad about Vaccine Guilt for Jessica
Jess, Dotty, and Helmet,
Been listening for awhile. Love the banter back and forth. I thought I would address Jessica’s “post-vaccination guilt.” As 30 year veteran of Fire and Emergency Services, I thought I would try to alleviate some of Jessica’s moral dissonance about getting the vaccine. I’ve received the vaccine as well been part of administering them. We’re mightily trying to have some semblance of order in the vaccination process. Between cancelled appointments, too many multi-dose vials being opened, and post-vaccination panic attacks, the entire operation descends into anarchy usually by the afternoon. (I’m exaggerating of course). My point being, if you can get a vaccine, get it. More doses are arriving everyday in California (“thank you Gavin Newsome”). It won’t be long before it will time to vaccinate the Karen’s, Qanon crowd, and mask-holes. That will likely bog down the system. So you have to get it when you can. Love the Podcast. Every week, I look forward to Jessica’s laugh and Hemet getting trashed for having no friends, all the time. (I’ll be your friend Hemet). Keep up the good work.
Backstory set ups
I have listened to two episodes and this is my suggestion. The conversations flow better when Jessica knows when Hemant is explaining the backstory. Sometimes Jessica unknowingly derails the set up and H has to bring it back. I suggest that H try to shorten the backstory (if possible) and quicken the pace/cadence just a little then Jessica & the audience will automatically know backstory vs main point. I do appreciate the episode notes with spot times.
I wish I could go see Jess do live comedy. Seriously, she has me cracking up constantly.
