Host Dan Miles has some talented friends. So many, in fact, that he created this podcast to showcase them all. But don't be fooled by the informal name, this is no amateur hour! Every "friend of Dan" appearing on the show is a seasoned professional and a master of their genre. The half talk/half music format offers listeners a nice introduction to both the music and the personality of each artist.

Still love it
I’m a long time listener to this podcast and have listened to every episode. Really great stuff here folks. You too can become a friend of Dan.
Good, but could be better
I always like the subject matter and the personalities, but Dan needs to let the guests talk more. My guess is that if you were to time the talking sections of the program you would find that Dan talks more than 60% of the time. People want to hear from the artist and have the host as a guide. Even if has the perfect story, he should let the artist tell it.
Really enjoy Jim Morrison paris last days . Two thumbs up!
