Interview with a Vampire Book vs movie and TV SERIES Frolicking Chronicles

In anticipation of the TV series coming out and in memory of Anne Rice we decided to re-read The Vampire Chronicles Interview with the Vampire earlier this year.
We were heading to New Orleans and felt this would be the perfect Virtual Book Club pick.  Be sure to follow our Instagram account for Book Club announcements.

So why not re-watch the 1994 movie too?  Well as you know, the book is not only different but usually always better in most cases.  Anne Rice 1976 novel solidified her stance on inclusion of all outcast.  Introducing us to “sumptuous romance, female sexuality  and queerness - many took “Interview w/the Vampire” as an allegory for homosexuality - to the supernatural genre.” - npr.org
