Every couple of weeks, Amalia Martino, CEO and President of Seattle-based ad agency, The Vida Agency, sits down with a wide variety of friends, peers and other professionals. She sure does know some colorful folks who walk to the walk. This week’s episode of The Whole Damn Pie is no different.
Sheree Gibson is a mother of 4 who, at first glance, seemed without a path as a young adult. In reality, her path was there. She had been blazing it from very early in her modest working career. It was her calling, however, that came later. That came from self-discovery, and a decisive conversation she had one afternoon with her husband.
An important recurring theme that came up during Amalia’s 30-minute chat with her “friend and inspiration” was the idea of “pivoting.” If little else, Sheree points out, during this pandemic businesses learned- if they didn’t know already- the dire importance of being able to pivot and adapt to changing circumstances.
Join us as Amalia and Sheree discuss gender disparities, the importance of nurturing relationships, and how to turn those relationships into work opportunities that keep growing, and more! Only on The Whole Damn Pie!
