Creativity is defined by people like YOU

Over the course of the last 13 episodes you’ve met 13 seemingly ordinary people + 1 narrator who are out there closing the creativity gap.
In 2012, Adobe conducted a study that found that only 25% of people consider themselves creative - while up to 80% of those same people believe that creativity is essential to economic and societal growth.
We at Frankly Good Coffee could not agree more with that 80%. Creativity IS essential to economic and societal growth. It’s essential to us being happy and fulfilled in our personal and professional lives.

    Learning as you go

    Learning as you go

No matter what your creative idea is, or what stage of pursuit of it you’re in, implicit in all of it is learning as you go. Whether you’re making a big move, a smaller move, or anything in between, there’s always learning involved. It seems so simple but learning as you go is  crucial to fueling your creative ideas.

Until we went to a farmers market in Tucson Arizona and saw a man roasting coffee beans in the back of his truck and selling them!

The Frankly Good Coffee Story, Part 1:
Frankly Good Coffee  started with me complaining about how I could not find any coffee beans that I liked anywhere. This was 10 years ago, when specialty coffee was not as prolific as it is now. My husband, Glenn, tried to remedy the situation by getting us a home roaster, which was great in theory until my first batch of beans caught on fire! Fortunately, the house did not burn down and we became prolific at the art of home roasting. Turns out we were just getting started.
Coffee drinkers and friends of coffee drinkers should check out Frankly Good Coffee for freshly roasted coffee selections, online ordering and subscriptions, including their new Creative Fuel blends - created by Glenn to celebrate this podcast. Can't wait to fill your online coffee orders.

Clancy Harrison - Hunger fighter Clancy’s definition of creativity: It's honestly being open to seeing differently. When you're able to do that, things appear differently and you have a different perspective. Which  opens up other channels of how you approach something. When you can appreciate situations and people for who they are, whether you agree with them or disagree with them, I think a lot of creative solutions can happen.
Clancy also appeared in Episode 3, Perspective is everything.

My expectations for this podcast were high, knowing Stef and her consistently innovative and engaging work. But even still, my expectations were way surpassed! Stef does a superb job of eliciting unexpected stories of creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and resiliency from her guests. And as a host, Stef is warm, funny, and always thought provoking and heart opening. I unreservedly recommend!
