    Why We Built This Podcast

I believe you have a gift to share with the world. You most likely are multi-passionate and have done a LOT of things over the course of your life. You’ve probably been told to “get your head out of the clouds” or to have a back up plan for your big dreams. But friend, I’m here to tell you, this journey isn’t a linear one and your multifaceted and creative brain wasn’t meant to be tamed.
Using your skills and passions, you’ll build the business to serve your community with impact and provide for the life you want. This podcast walks through the vision, strategy, and tactics needed in order for you to reach success at your pace.
If you’ve ever thought, “I just want to help people,” and have felt icky for charging money or even talking money with potential clients, but in your heart of hearts, you really want to make more doing what you love to do, so you can stop worrying and start pursuing the life of freedom you know is possible, we made this podcast for you.

The 7 Segments to Master in Your Business

The 7 Segments to Master in Your Business

I’m so so excited you’re here for Episode #1. Officially welcome to my little corner of the podcast world. I’m so excited to be your guide
This episode is a sneak peek about what’s coming in this season of the Fueled with Heart Podcast and the things we’ll be keeping in mind as we create content for you.
I believe that there are super important things you need to do to get successful in business, but even more important than that, you stay in business and make the kind of impact you want to make. While we’ll talk about finances and making more dolla dolla bills, it’s really more about how can we get you to where you’re happy in both life and in business.
Here’s the flip side or something you might be epitomizing. In one of the first programs I ever invested in, there was a woman who I so admired when I was starting my business. She looked like she was killing it. She was a blogger and it looked like she was getting sponsored by huge brands, traveling all over, wearing beautiful clothes. I was like, wow, that’s really something. I didn’t necessarily want that but I wanted to do what made me happy and to have the money and ability to make freedom based decisions.
Well turns out, that your idols don’t always have it figured out. In fact, over the course of the program, it became evident to me that she was very much in the red with her business, she felt like she was floundering, and she was even to the point of loaning money or taking a quote unquote real job.
There’s nothing wrong with deciding to take a traditional job. However, if you’re in a position of influence like she was, it seems deceptive and felt icky to me.
This podcast isn’t about hitting six figures, seven figures, becoming a multimillionaire. If that’s your goal, that’s awesome. But this is about being MINDFUL and intentional about the way you build your business.

FWH 002: What do you stand for?

FWH 002: What do you stand for?

What does your business stand for?
    What’s your purpose.
We start here because without this, without setting your compass to your north, you’ll be wandering and lost in the wilderness with no map.
And the analogy is that the long sessions you’re sitting on your couch doing the thumb scroll looking at everybody else’s instagram, wishing that their reality is your reality is like throwing away your GPS and attempting to make it from Texas to New York. If you don’t have a plan that’s set by you, you’ll find yourself on somebody else’s journey, and scratching your head about why it doesn’t feel right, or “is this all there is in life?”
This episode is all about your business heart and core.

How to Share More You in Your Biz

How to Share More You in Your Biz

A mentor who I loved and respected sat me down for a chat and said, I love your work, Reina but I feel like I know nothing about you. I feel like you don’t share ANYTHING about what’s going on. Your brand is consistent and it’s pretty but where is REINA?
If you’re anything like me, you struggle with being “in front of the camera” so to speak in your business. It’s much easier to hide behind the brand and put on the professional front.
Today I’m sharing why you should be sharing more about you in your brand and 3 tips for how to do it without having to be #authentic.
You should be the face of your brand because it creates connection in a way that makes you a relatable human. But you  might fear, like I did at the beginning, wouldn’t people think I was unprofessional if I wasn’t this “big business” and I admitted that I was a one-person shop?
Nope! In fact, as a small business, you should use this to your advantage.

FWH 004: Nobody Wants a Cold Pitch

FWH 004: Nobody Wants a Cold Pitch

If you’re new in business, you’re probably looking to figure out how you can make more sales in your business. If you’re a little further in, you’re maybe wondering how you can multiply the ones who have been dreamy clients and a bigger volume of them.
This episode we’re diving into the human strategy for how you can make more sales and how you should delete cold pitches from your repertoire. Nobody likes to receive them and it’s easy to avoid - there are so many more effective ways for people to learn about your work.
It’s centered around the concept I call Social Glue. You could distill it down and simply call it “networking” but I think it’s a little more nuanced than going to a networking event, talking about yourself and exchanging business cards. There are also a lot of potentials.
