    Hosting Community Partnership events in Lexington and Louisville, KY on September 26, KPMA-member Wawa, a Pennsylvania-based chain of over 1,000 convenience retail and food service stores, announced it is planning to build at 40 stores across Kentucky over the next eight to 10 years, with the first location expected to open in 2025.

    In this episode, Wawa President Brian Schaller talks about the chain's plans for growth in Kentucky, as well as the purpose of the Community Partnership events that featured Special Olympics Kentucky. Trish Mazzoni, President/CEO of Special Olympics Kentucky also talks about partnering with Wawa in support their Unified Sports Program.

    In this episode, Jonathan shares his insights about the retail fueling sector, the industry's future direction, and a sneak peek into what attendees can anticipate hearing during his Tank Conference session. In the last 27 years, Jonathan has seen the continued development of USTs and secondary containment systems, and he provides his outlook on future expectations for those in the industry. While there is a continued push to diversify energy, managing the current infrastructure should remain a key part of our day-to-day efforts.
