After an unplanned week off, Full Time is back in a big way with Alex Morgan, Rachel Daly and Lynn Williams joining the pod to have a discussion about the NWSL and plans for 2022 — with a crowded summer of international matches and World Cup qualifiers, how can players balance club and country? Meg and Steph Yang catch up to discuss both the fall-out across the NWSL (including the relocation of the NWSL Championship) but also the games and the playoff picture — plus discuss some candidates for NWSL MVP, and what we consider “most valuable.” Plus: thinking about the NWSL commissioner role and the USWNT roster drop, and Meg might accidentally start a barbeque war at the end.

teabozzz ,

Meg is onside

I appreciate all their hard work to bring us the info

tellmemoar ,

More substance please

I really want to like this show by women reporters covering women’s soccer, but often the conversation has no real substance. They don’t actually tell us the facts of whatever development they are discussing; instead they skip straight into vague meta-commentary. It’s unsatisfying. It’s like I have to read all the actual news before I listen to follow the conversation, but isn’t the point of the podcast to help those of us who don’t have time to read all the news but still want to stay up to date?

Sul4ever ,

Informative but…

These two woman are always prepared, they know their soccer. They do their research. But…for two highly educated individuals for the love of God please stop saying “like” every other word when you speak!!!! 4/5 stars just for that.
