Customer Reviews
Great Podcast but they got the name wrong...
Ok, let's get one thing out of the way: Jay might be a fat b*tch but that doesn't always mean he's wrong. In the wide breadth of things they discuss Jay is correct somewhere between all of the time and none of the time. However, he did title this thing the Fun National Podcast! Sure, it's Fun and it's a Podcast but it's not National, it's International. John has stated time and time again that he lives in New Zealand and that 45 is no longer his president (despite his obvious American citizenship still withstanding). So is it incorrect to say that this should be called the Fun International Podcast? I mean I get it: saying the FN Podcast is a lot funnier than saying the FI Podcast, especially considering that would bring about a plethora of listeners looking for a podcast regarding Fidelity. And good god, what are they looking for? Fidelity Investments? Vinyl collections? Faithful married people? The list goes on and on, but I digress. Now I know Jason will argue that it started off as a podcast with two Americans living in the United States but on opposite ends of the country, hence the "National". But that was only for about 1 year of the almost 5 they have been recording. They've been international 80% of the time and national 20% of the time, roughly. So I ask you, if you knew someone that lied to you 80% of the time and was honest 20%, would you consider them an honest person or a liar? I rest my case.
In the end, this podcast is hilarious, ridiculous, and addresses all the issues you don't care about and none of the issues you do...but in a good way. Speaking of which, your guess is as good as mine as to if and when they'll ever bring back the "animals vs people" tally they had in the beginning.
I hope you enjoy The Fun International Podcast.
Hilariously Informative
These guys are spot on week after week. Hilarious dialogue, timely discussions. FNP is the most underrated podcast out there.
Because they’re begging
I’ll give them the extra star when they do a podcast from Churro Borough and grab random people from the shop to speak during their podcast.
