Reluctant Queen ,

Annoying

Edited: Sorry, gals, but you're just mean girls gossiping about your former friends. I don't think you'd be happy anywhere..... for now. But, I'll say this, there's even enough grace for the likes of John Mac. I'm not a huge fan of his. We part ways on many points in my Lutheran doctrine which I came to in my late 40's. (Now in my mid 60's) i.e.: I didn't just get off the turnip boat and have seen everything and been involved in all manner of churches since I was 15 years old. I am no longer frustrated and angry but I am determined to clearly and succinctly explain the gospel of grace to whoever will listen - even fundys. Be constructive and gracious and on a practical level... get someone knowledgeable to help you with your audio. The peace of the Lord be with you.

Former Pharisee ,

I really tried to like it ...

After hearing both Marci and Sarah on other podcasts I thought I'd love this one. While they do have a lot of fun pointing out the dangers of religious moralism and provoke serious introspection, after listening to most of their first 10 episodes I've concluded a few things that finally have made me decide that it's not for me: 1). Too often, they're just not loving or gracious toward their fellow travellers. 2). The "Valley girl" affectation is tiring (It's like ... like ... how many, like, times can you, like, use the word "like" in like ... one, like ... sentence). 3). The production values (or lack thereof) make the program very difficult to listen to. You'd think that by their 10th episode they would have figured out that Sarah is way too soft to be heard and Marci blows your ear drums out in comparison. 4). Their best episodes are the ones with guests, but the guest on episode 10 is so random I didn't get the point.

Describes my life

I moved from the real gospel to a fundyland blend and couldn't understand why I was dying. I almost committed suicide in fundyland. Thankful God pulled me out before I did the unthinkable. Many many thanks for this podcast!!
