A favorite from the steak house where I worked the grill in my college years. The restaurant has been out of business for over 20 years now and the recipes are difficult to find on the internet, but my memory has served me pretty well on this. Try it out for yourself and I think you'll agree it's a winner!

A number of years ago, my supervisor took vacation to travel back to her point of origin, “das Vaterland”, to visit her "volks". When she returned, she shared this family recipe with me.
