Lyanna S ,

A staple of my cultural diet

Other podcasts may recap or dissect the media they consume, but at Galactic Suburbia they have achieved the perfect synthesis with Reader Response Theory. That is to say, I listen to them as much to hear about their reactions to a given piece of media as to hear about the media itself. I care about their personal lives, and the history they bring to a given text; and it doesn't hurt that they are all such good friends. I know I'm late to this party but I'll be staying.

Everyone should be listening to these ladies

I love this podcast. Every time an episode downloads, I immediately drop everything to listen. Keep doing amazing work!!!

Recommended!

Just finished the March 9th, 2016 podcast as linked to by Ms. Bujold on her Goodreads blog for Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen — great job! You covered all the important reasons I loved the book — and the Vorkosigan series in general. I really enjoyed this smart, insightful discussion and have subscribed. Thanks!
