Brass tacks gaming talk - for the whole family
I’ve gamed with Steve in the past, and when he told me he was gonna start a podcast, I couldn’t wait to listen. He and his son, Jake, have a great banter when talking about games, new or old. It is quite refreshing to be able to listen to some honest talk about games without the salty language that other podcasts have. If you have a chance to listen to two generations of gamers talk about what they love, sit down and listen to the Gamersvantage podcast.
Great games podcast
I listen to several game podcasts and Gamersvantage is one of my favorites. I like its format of a father and son discussing games that they play. It can be a little heavy on game types I haven't enjoyed in the past (JRPGs), but their enthusiasm for them gives nice perspective and makes me want to try them out.
A recommended hobby gamer podcast
I listen to several other video game podcasts, ranging from the big pros to the little hobby guys -- even have one of my own -- and this is one of my favorites. There are shows that are great for game news and previews and current events, and then there are shows that come to you from the trenches, so to speak, where the hosts talk about all aspects of gaming. GamersVantage is like that. Every episode has thought-provoking topics from a couple of guys who obviously enjoy this hobby -- Steve and son Jake. A fun show, and one I can relate too. Worth subscribing!
