Gamewoven is an Actual Play podcast born from a frivolous idea that we think has been bubbling under the surface of AP for a few years now. You've heard of building a setting with The Quiet Year and then playing in that setting, but at Gamewoven we ask "can we go deeper?"Our goal is to build an entire world one game at a time. Rather than write out our worldbuilding ideas to make them coherent and internally consistent, we will pick a game every 2-4 weeks and see what kind of world emerges through play. If we find an interesting thread we have to leave behind, we might revisit it with another game that we think is tailor-fit to suit that particular hook.

Exactly what we needed
This is the show we needed in tabletop podcasting - there are so many different games out there and it’s undeniable how well the cast is weaving them all into the same canon narrative. This is an expert idea with expert execution. So thrilled for where this will go!

Just found this one and right out of the gate, this is awesome! It has different TTRPGs in which the games are interconnected with each other. Chef’s kiss!
Incredible idea.
It’s a bit like One Shot where all the games take place in the same world, or Friends at the Table’s Bluff City but with a larger scope. Playing a world building game as a foundation for a campaign, but this show is leaning in on telling lots of different stories in a world that builds complexity by layering those games on top of one another. Definitely worth checking out.
