Excitement Dwindled

The first episode was great and I was excited to learn more as I did not know the ins and outs of the scandel. And then, you get the guy that rambles on forever about how this is race and how we are overlooking the fact that rich white kids got in on the backs of black athletes that create revenue by being good at their sport. I'm sorry WHAT?! WHY make everything about race? If a black family came up with 500k to get their kid into USC, Rick is going to get that kid in too. And, are we forgetting about all the MAJOR revenue making white quarterbacks, kickers, and running backs of some of these major teams? It's not just black athletes generating revenue. The kids getting into these schools by mommy and daddy has NOTHING to do with taking advantage of what the black man has set up for everyone else in college sports. How completely stupid was this monologue that ran WAY too long in episode 2. It's about wealth. Not Race. Also, I listen to a LOT of podcasts and I've NEVER felt the need to write a review but I just had to on this one. This had potential. It's a shame it went stupid.

Great Show but a little disappointed

I was going along with the show, enjoying every word until the silly race narrative came up in episode 2. The entire scandal is about spoiled rich people trying to gain the system because they see college for their kids as some sort of status symbol. Are all the defendants white? I honestly have no idea. I do know that the ESPN reporter’s silly comment about “white privilege” is so horribly misplaced. And it does nothing to drive the story. I live in the real world where people of all races love, work and care for one another. You giving him a platform to sew in a bit of racial discourse does nothing but weaken the entire series...because it makes me second guess your motive for even doing the series.
