This Podcast Will Re-Shape Your Mind to THINK like a Business Person that Writes!
Nick Pavlidis is literally one of the smartest people I've met as I network. I've had the opportunity to connect with him at two podcasting conferences and both times he made an impact. He encouraged me to start my own show last summer and he even helped me name it! I've been listening to this show this weekend and I have a few comments:
1. Nick talks a lot of his desire to help others. I am not in the same industry and he gains no income at all from helping me, yet he did anyway at no charge.
2. This podcast is literally brain surgery for the writer who wants to turn their passion into a full time career. I am a writer as well. It took me nearly 6 years to publish my first book and I started from scratch. I wish I had a writing coach as talented as Nick back then. The writers I have met are technicians with NO business owner mindset. They just spin their wheels. This show (if you pay attention) will transform your thinking from a writer trying to do business to a business person that writes.
3. The last episode on negotiating was outstanding! I'm in another industry (cleaning) and I use this exact strategy and it works brilliantly. It goes to show that Nick is teaching sound business mindset which spans across industries.
4. I have literally witnessed this man close a huge ghostwriting deal at a networking event! He is a machine, yet so humble. If you're in his paid school... you're in GREAT hands! If not, why???
Practical tips I’m using right now
Nick provides focused and actionable information to start your own ghostwriting business. Before listening to the podcast, I didn’t have a correct understanding of all the different ghostwriting options. The first three episodes provide a great foundation and Nick explains the many different types of ghostwriting services. I am in the process of starting my own business now, and his podcast is saving me time and headaches!
