On the third episode of “A Woman’s Right To Pleasure,” Stoya and the book’s Editor in Chief Alexandra Weiss are joined by artist and activist Sophia Wallace. Best known for her viral project CLITERACY, Wallace is interested in the ways that womxn are denied self-determination through the weaponization of their bodies. Through diverse materials and approaches, including large text, sculpture, installation and performance, Wallace’s art seeks to establish the clitoris in visual representation; a vital part of our understanding of the body. Her TedxTalk on the subject, A Case For Cliteracy, has been viewed over 850,000 times. 
In this episode, we discuss the representation of the female body in pornography and art history, motherhood, the censorship of the female body, objectification, desire, the language we use to discuss female sexuality, queer sexuality, what it means to be “cliterate” and pleasure as a political act.
