In 2007, he experienced one of the biggest failures in his life. His business went under. He had the option of filing for bankruptcy, but together with his wife, they decided to take a different route. Derek got a partner who had the money, and Derek brought his knowledge to the table.
With his experience, Derek rebuilt his business and runs a mastermind and a conference today.
