The Phantom of the Opera (Print, Screen, & Stage)

Sid Branca guests on this bonus episode about all things Phantom! We discuss the novel, film adaptations, and the stage musical.

Note about the production: This was my FIRST TIME recording in person since before the pandemic. I messed up a bit with setting up the mic and chose the wrong setting, which is why my audio doesn't sound the best. But this was such a good discussion I didn't want to scrap it! I did my best to make it sound ok. Thank you for listening anyway!

In-depth reviews and context

This has been so interesting and insightful as I listen alongside watching movies. The male/female gaze and monstrous feminine episodes have been the most interesting, but the recap episodes for specific movies are always interesting too.

Essential listening for any fan of horror movies, or giallo movies, or just movies. 🖤
