Gloria had always prided herself on being a fit and active person that could handle anything. But when she was cornered by a large man who was getting too close to her, she realized that although she might be prepared physically to defend herself, she wasn’t prepared mentally. After that encounter, she went on to train in self-defense, and decided to dedicate her life to helping others to not only protect themselves externally, but also to protect themselves internally and spiritually.
