Introspective musicianship for beginners
Wendy K has a soothing, yet provocative way of walking us through all three lists of Rolling Stones takes of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and for that I’m quite grateful. Her takes of tracks she found interesting (or deeply unsatisfactory, in some cases) gives her listeners some solid coverage of the album as a whole without copyright infringement. If I’m new to an album, it makes me want to listen to it, and if I’ve heard it before, it definitely makes me want to revisit it with new perspective
