Sharmin Washington - The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.” Pablo Picasso. This is what Sharmin Washington exemplifies in her daily life. Sharmin is the proud owner of Forever Hair in Northwoods Mall, Grace Salon Suites in Moncks Corner, Summerville, and North Charleston. Her newest business ventures include her interior design business, Grace Designs & Co. and Flourish Beauty Bar which is a health and wellness company. She is also “The Salon Sucess Coach” where she helps struggling business owners or start up businesses maximize their potential and be successful Gods way. Sharmin C Washington has been making people beautiful since she could remember. In her words “I remember as a young girl I would style all of my friends and family members hair and I would say I wanted to have a salon one day. “Now twenty some odd years later her dream has flourished into a reality. She prides her self in her impeccable work ethic, relaxing and inviting atmosphere, and of course her keen eye for design. After a over a decade in the hair industry standing behind the chair, she has retired to continue to focus on her other businesses. During her 14 year career, she was featured in numerous local magazines displaying her extraordinary talents. One of the leading makeup artist for Charleston Fashion Week two consecutive years in a row and awarded 2014 Best Hair and Make-up artist at the CMBEA Awards. She has traveled around the east coast countless times to answer the call rather it be styling for weddings or bridal parties or make-up for local and international models. Sharmin has also been featured in many professional photographers portfolios as well as a model for many different clothing lines. She is definitely the true definition of a modern day “Renaissance Woman” She is wife to her amazing husband Elder Christopher Washington, mother of two amazing children Traeson 12, and Aubree 5, elder at her local church (Restoring Life Worship Center), and a very successful serial entrepreneur.
