Wild Remembering: Words to Ignite Your Soul
Words can be magical or mundane. Humans have always had story as a way of learning, communicating, understanding, defining, creating the realities within us and around us. Bards were sacred beings in ancient times. We are all story weavers in our daily lives. So what makes a story special that it connects us to the Unseen world of sacred, magical, dreamtime? My featured guest, Christine Watkins, is a storyteller, author, and performance artist. She is a Priestess of Avalon and Storyteller Priestess. Enjoy her stories and our conversation into the Unspoken world behind the words.

Find Your Life Purpose Through Story
Do you love a good story? Well, I think it's in our DNA as humans to know the world through story. Story can literally shift the way the world is from within our consciousness as well as creating social norms and cultures. It's a powerful vehicle that can also be consciously harnessed for seeing into the Unknown.
Healing and magic happens when we can identify which part of what story we are in! This is what Cristina Craciun, sister Priestess of Avalon and member of the Order of Bards, Ovids and Druids tells me. She is consecrated to Goddess as a Bard Priestess and designated to hold the fire of ancient wisdom.
My guest, Cristina Craciun, is consecrated to Goddess as bard priestess, and she has been designated to hold the fire of ancient wisdom.Cristina is currently dedicating her work to prehispanic Latin American mysteries. She has been ordained as a cacaotera - sacred celebrant of the cacao ceremony, after 2 years of intensive training and a lifetime of study. As part of her Latin American journey and apprenticeship, she is studying together with the Q'eros community in the Peruvian Andes to become a Nusta - priestess of Pachamama, Earth Goddess in the Andean belief. As a sociologist and semiotician, her purpose is to guide children into the beauty of discovering their soul purpose, through the skills of nature lore, sacred ritual, myths and proverbial wisdom. She believes in the transformative power of mythology and storytelling. Her cacao and herb lore ceremonies are children-friendly and they are not just entertainment, but a deep initiation into the sacred mysteries of Mother Earth.

Passion, Respect and Abundance: getting our house in order
The world is changing rapidly. How do we stay grounded and at the same time open to shifting our perspectives? How do we flow with change that is not only in response to outside forces, but coming from a deep place of alignment with our own truth?
I have been an admirer of Yukiko and the gifts she shares with the world.
I was truly inspired by and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between Yukiko and LaShanda Brown.
I could relate to many aspects of LaShanda’s story. I walked away from listening to this episode with many insights and ideas of how to acknowledge and honor my intuition.
As a woman of color, I could also relate to the point about being “strong,” and the weight of being the only or the first.
Thank you for this enlightening conversation. Looking forward to hearing more.
And I’ve now made LaShanda a friend in my head. 😊
