Charming and Informative
This pod is amongst the three Spurs pods I listen to on a weekly basis. I truly enjoy the dynamic between Rob and Ali (and occasionally Lee). I find the post match coverage very thorough and often learn about incidents or player reactions that didn’t make the American broadcast. I like the balance of having a Spurs fan (and reporter) and “just” a Spurs reporter.
The editing of this pod is sometimes atrocious, with an ad dropped in mid-phrase or coming back from break to hear the same section from before repeated and later an abrupt ending - but I say this in the best way possible. I don’t mind it. It makes it feel like what I think it is - a pod put together by a team for the fun of it and not necessarily in pursuit of podcast riches.
I enjoy the subtle digs about holiday time off, Guesty’s Richarlison idolatry and Ali’s stumbling into silly turns of phrase. “On paper” and off this is one of the great podcasts for a Spurs supporter.
