I’m Layla Saad, and my life is driven by One. Burning. Question. How can I become a Good Ancestor? How can I create a legacy of healing and liberation for those who are here in this lifetime, and those who will come after I am gone? In my pursuit to answer this question, I’m interviewing change-makers and culture-shifters who are also exploring that question for themselves, in the way that they live and lead their life. It’s my intention that these conversations will help You find your own answers to that question too. Welcome, to Good Ancestor Podcast.

A challenge, a gift, an opportunity.

Layla’s leadership is grounded in dignity, vulnerability, and a fierce commitment to naming what “is” in the pursuit of what could be. I feel held to the fire every time I engage with Layla’s work. This podcast (each and every episode) is an invitation to examine myself, question what I find, and own the shadow along with the light. This podcast is a lesson in integration. What might my legacy be - with all my complicated past, present, and future? Can I brave what “is” in order to co-create what could be? Layla is modeling this work and I’m deeply grateful for it.
