using the placebo effect to debunk astrology is simple minded because then you have to debunk most of modern medicine as well. modern research shows that the "theater" of the doctor wearing a lab coat etc may induce the placebo effect and accounts for a good bit of any healing, the same as if you went to a shaman. theres an entire program at harvard dedicated to studying this. so if astrology invokes the placebo effect that is a good thing
