Lilburn Made Great Accomplishments In 2021

www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com Repaving of city streets did not slow down in 2021. SPLOST will continue to fund these improvements in 2022.

Streetscaping in Old Town was planned and funded in 2021. Phase one will be parking, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, landscape plantings, a four way stop at First and Main, and an upgrade to the water main on Railroad Avenue.

Phase two will be streetscape improvements on Railroad Avenue, a road connection from Railroad to First, stormwater improvements, and even more parking.

On the Greenway Trail, we are replacing wooden bridges with durable material that extend the life of the trail up to 75 years.

Going For An Outpatient Procedure At Northside, Bring Extra Cash Or A Credit Card

www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com Ever since Northside took over Gwinnett Medical there have been some huge changes. One main change is the way patients are billed for outpatient procedures. Before when you went for a procedure you would pay a copay if you had one. If you had a deductible you would be billed for that amount at a later date, well that is a thing of the past. When you go for a procedure now, be prepared to pay the deductible amount on that same day or you won't be allowed to get the procedure.

The Ebony Society Honors The King Family Wishes & Cancel Parade

www.GoodMorningGwinnett.com We regret to inform you that the United Ebony Society’s annual Martin Luther King Parade scheduled to be held in the city of Lawrenceville, GA on January 17, 2022, has been cancelled. The decision to cancel the parade is two-fold. In efforts to honor the wishes of the King family, the celebration could not take place without the inclusion of Voting Rights legislation. In addition, the low registration of participants due to COVID concerns, as well as the recent surge in viral infections, impacts the organization’s ability to successfully implement a robust celebration.

Raw, Real and Resilience

I came across Audreys show recently via Georgette and her media team. I tuned in with Partnership Matters with DA Patsy. I love how real and conversational the show is from faith to business to entrepreneurship, and everything in between! Very engaging too!
