Love this podcast

I love the gordcast. I came in late but was really shocked the first time I heard it how clean the recording was and how relaxing your voice was. I believe it was an episode with your sister and I just got lost in it.

An Entertaining, Unique Treasure

The Gordcast is a truly unique treasure. For someone who grew up in Napa, California, and now calls Portland home, it is interesting to hear the references and reminisces of my hometown locales, incidents, events, etc. But one need not have grown up in the Napa Valley to enjoy the many levels of interesting discussion between host and Master of Ceremonies, Gordie Adams, and the walking, talking Wikipedia of music knowledge and trivia, Paul Bertolino. (Go ahead—I dare you—just try to ask Paul a Beatles trivia question that he can’t answer). I think anyone and everyone will enjoy the entertaining and knowledgeable dialogue of Gordie and Paul on The Gordcast, as well as on the spin-off Podcast, The Gordcast Shuffle. The wide range of topics explored—including music, live concerts, cultural references, film and television comments, and yes…perhaps even the occasional mention of KISS(!)—will give you many hours of enjoyment and entertainment. Particularly enjoyable are the episodes devoted to a given year—for example, Episode 85, which is a snapshot and time capsule of the music/films/cultural events/etc. of the year 1985.

On a recent road trip from Portland to Napa, my wife (who, incidentally did not grow up in Napa, but finds The Gordcast equally entertaining) and I loaded up the iPod with as many Gordcasts as we could download, and listened to show after show while the hours and scenery passed by on Highway 5. We were entertained for the entire 10+ hour drive! Load up all episodes of The Gordcast (as well as The Gordcast Shuffle) and give them a listen…you, too, will be hooked!!

Excellent podcast, addicting!!

Good fun!! I find myself driving around the block until the show's over. Great for a refresher in music and culture, bad for fuel economy.
