    • Self-Improvement

We welcome you into the conversation with Dr. Brad Johnson, professor of psychology in the Department of Leadership, Ethics, and Law at the U.S. Naval Academy and faculty associate in the Graduate School of Education at Johns Hopkins University. Author of numerous books tackling the subject of mentorship, gender in the workplace, and professional ethics; including Good Guys: How Men Can Become Better Allies for Women in the Workplace (2020, with David Smith), The Elements of Mentoring (2018, with Charles Ridley), and Athena Rising: How and Why Men Should Mentor Women (2016, with David Smith).

In this episode, we take a moment to "pause" and dig a bit deeper with Dr. Johnson as we explore mentorship and its place in our personal and professional lives. What does it mean to adopt a posture of cultural humility? How does being a mentor impact mentors and what makes for a good mentee? Tune in and find out!
