The best curation of Christian music ever.

I either heard this on air when it was called Under the Radar or I found it in one of my 'rabbit hole' searching episodes. I just remember finding it in my music back up folder on my computer when I was going through it, played it and never stopped listening. This is what I wished I had growing up. I grew up in a conservative christian household. We still watched secular movies and I listened to secular music but the only christian music I ever heard was Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith like music. I did hear about Petra and DC Talk but I had already defined what Christian music was in my mind and I didn't want anything to do with it. Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and Metallica were some of the music choices I enjoyed but always left me with a negative vibe as it contradicted my need for God and His holiness in my life. I often wondered,' why can't we have godly lyrics with Metallica or Snoop Dogg metal/beats.' It wasn't until College that I found this music existed. It exists here with this podcast as well. Dave Trout has been on fire for this type of music for so long and desires that the massess HEAR IT! So many of these artists have less than 100 views of their songs on YouTube. They should have millions. But I know the reason they do what they do and that is what makes this music ascend to even a higher spiritual level than secular music. It speaks to our souls. It has to mine so many times, even bringing me to tears. Thank you Dave Trout and crew for your longtime committment to this small community that longs for this soul music. This Gourmet Music. Thank you to the artists that you play on here as well, as I know if they chose the path of the world their fame would be astounding and would be idols to many. But they have chosen to live out Mark 8:35. Mark 8:36 poses a question after it, "For what does it profit a man/woman to gain the whole world, and forfeit his/her soul?"
Curated, independent, high-quality faith-inspired creativity

Oodles of new and beaten pass Christian artists and songwriters get featured every episode, stuff you could never find on the radio, which Has, like many parts of the media industry, then the consolidated so much that there’s very little room for creativity or diversity. But not here it’s a labor of love for host Dave Trout to try to curate a wide range of content, which she does with a help of a panel of critics submissions from listeners. I don’t always love every songs, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s opening me up to new voices, for the chance to find the diamond in the rough, or the hidden gem, or even to take my ears somewhere and Internet algorithm wouldn’t have. I also appreciate the platform. This is new and independent artists, Nurturing, grassroots music making from real people.
Perfect start to my day!
