Grief, Trauma, SIDS and Healing with Lily Dulan, MFT Shattered Conception: Navigating Infertility, Pregnancy Loss, and Healing Paths

On Episode 8 of Shattered Conception my guest is Marriage and Family Therapist, Lily Dulan. Lily is also a certified Heart of Yoga Teacher and Author of the book, The Name Work. The Name Work is also an A-Z deck of cards which describes the qualities of each letter of the alphabet and then has simple affirmations to go with each quality listed on the back of the card. Lily facilitates The Name Work workshops throughout the country and conducts one-on-one sessions in person or on-line. Additionally, Lily studied spiritual coursework at Agape International Spiritual Center under the tutelage of Reverend Michael Bernard Beckwith.
Lily formed a foundation a few years ago that partners with local and international organizations called The Kara Love Project. This foundation was developed in loving memory of her first daughter, Kara Meyer Dulan, who died at home in 2009 of SIDS when she was 2 months old. The mission of The Kara Love Project is to promote conscious giving and positive action for underserved and marginalized individuals and communities worldwide. Lily has used her grief and trauma as a catalyst to bring more love, compassion and light into the world. Lily "believes that we have to learn to get more in touch with our suffering and really feel it before we can create positive meaning that will assist us in our healing."
